About me
I am a educational psychologist with 5+ years of experience in educational administration, as well as a counselor in progress. I have a special focus on student psychoemotional management and inclusion by bringing families and schools together.
My key interest lies on students’ development and academic performance and the role of parents and teachers in it. Peformance in any habit goes hand-in-hand with the general well-being of everyone involved: that is why I am quite passionate about safeguarding and child protection measures and how to embed them in schools’ practices and procedures. I am actively seeking out mentorship opportunities with educators that can guide me in this aspect and offer me a more practical perspective. The collaboration with schools and other educational institutions has granted me an organic and diverse overview of school management and structure in international education.
I enjoy art in all of its forms, both receiving and creating it. I am avid reader and writer, film watcher and music listener, with books such as The Count of Monte Cristo and movies such as Parasite in my list of favorites. I have taken several creative writing courses with Fuentetaja1 and Casa Índigo2 to expand my writing skills beyond academics. In my free time I like to visit new places that I can capture with my analogue camera, visiting classic art museums and going to concerts of my favorite musicians.
